"From villages to cities: The Great Mergers of the Showa era in Toyooka"
All about “The Great Mergers of Showa”, an initiative which was promoted throughout Japan from about 1955. Using archives from the era, this exhibition shows many villages in Tajima and Toyooka were merged into some cities.
